We are delighted to invite you to a special Event at The Old Joint Stock,
4 Temple Row West, Birmingham on Friday evening 24th February, 2012.
There will be a comprehensive presentation by guest speaker David Robbins ARPS from Nikon UK on the subject of creative lighting as an introduction to Nikon flash systems. This will take delegates from basic principles to confident use of their Speedlight both on and off the camera and will include the following material:
- How flash exposure works
- Balanced lighting explained
- Controlling flash for natural lighting
- Creative effects with flash
- Modifying flash lighting
- Take flash off camera
- Multiple Speedlights for creative studio lighting techniques
The Old Joint Stock is situated in the centre of Birmingham and is a Grade II listed building, with wonderful decor and excellent food and beer; the venue was kindly organized by long-term Nikon Owner subscribers John and Nellie Steadman who were the founding organizers of the original Nikon Owner Midlands Group, and this is the same venue that was used previously for the meetings.
