Peter Jepson, who kindly organises all the meetings and events for the very popular Nikon Owner West Midlands Group, would like to invite everyone to a unique photo-outing which will take place on Thursday, 25th July 2013 at the Morgan Motor Company in the spa town of Malvern, Worcestershire. This iconic British car company have been making sports cars for over 100 years, famous all over the world for their excellence, craftsmanship and performance, and uniquely, all the cars are assembled by hand. The company was founded in 1910 by Henry Frederick Stanley Morgan, and was run by him until he died at age 77, then his son, Peter Morgan. The visitor centre and museum feature a guided tour of the factory and exhibits from the company’s history from Edwardian times until the present day, developments in automobile technology, and a display of automobiles.
As photography is permitted, you will be able to take some unique shots as the group is led on a tour of the factory. After the tour, weather permitting, there will be an opportunity for everyone attending to picnic in the Malvern Hills at a location called British Camp.
