Nikon Owner South Coast Group: November Meeting,
Photographing Fireworks!

An exciting evening of photographing fireworks has been kindly organised by the South-Coast Group organisers, Andrew Hewson and Adrian Cochrane on Saturday, 5th November. With Guy Fawkes Night falling on a Saturday this year, it seemed appropriate to make the Nikon Owner South-Coast Group November meeting an evening of practical photography and to arrange the evening around the Round Table organised Fireworks Display held in Southampton’s Mayflower Park.
Similarly to last year, Andrew has planned for the group to be able to take advantage of the excellent view of the airborne elements of the display that can be seen from the Old Wall opposite Mayflower Park, which provides uninterrupted views of the display. The display is scheduled to start at about 7:30 p.m. (subject to tides/weather/shipping/etc.), but Andrew suggests that in order to ensure your place on the wall everyone should meet early and be at the meeting point (the Old Wall opposite Mayflower Park as above) from 4:30 p.m. onwards. Family members are also very welcome and you can attend this photo-outing no matter where you live in the UK if you are a current Nikon Owner subscriber.
No fee or entrance fee is necessary to participate in the events of the evening.
After the display the group will retire to the back room of The Duke of Wellington for refreshments.
