Photo Feedback Evening
Following a suggestion from one of the regular attendees of the Nikon Owner South-Coast meetings, Adrian Cochrane and Andrew Hewson, who run the very successful Nikon Owner South-Coast Group, would like to invite everyone to the first photographic event of 2014 at The Duke of Wellington in Southampton. The agenda for the evening on this occasion will be a little different: Andrew and Adrian would like to ask everyone, in advance of the meeting, to email three of their images, ideally of different subjects, to the address below. The photographs will be presented anonymously during the evening and the group will be asked to provide feedback and improvement suggestions.
Andrew would like to point out that this is not a competition and it is not meant to be a ‘judging experience’ (such as might occur in other camera club competitions). The intention is to engender constructive discussion about the images, with the goal of generating suggestions for improvements as to how the photos could have been taken initially or ideas about alternative post-processing editing. Andrew says that the pictures you provide do not have to be your best ones, although they can be, but they should be images for which you would like feedback or editing suggestions – and, as mentioned above, ideally of different subjects.
