The next meeting of the Nikon Owner North Midlands Regional Group, very kindly arranged by Mike and Pat Clarke, the organisers of the group, will take place on Saturday, 2nd March 2013, with an illustrated talk by award-winning photographer Graham Heywood.

Graham Heywood, whose most excellent seminar in January of last year was very well-attended, will cover a wide range of photographic skills during the event. The presentation will include a mix of creative, sports and travel photography, with images taken in the UK as well as Argentina, Portugal and Spain. Graham currently uses a Nikon D800E camera and will be happy to answer questions after the presentation.

Date: Saturday afternoon, 2nd March 2013

Venue: Bramcote Memorial Hall, Church Street, Bramcote, Nottingham, NG9 3HD.

Time: 1.00 p.m. for a 1.30 p.m. start. Please note that the hall must be vacated before 5.00 pm.

There will be a nominal charge of £4 per head, which will include tea/coffee and biscuits.

We hope that as many people as possible will take advantage of this unique opportunity. However, the size of the room will limit the number attending to a maximum of 25, so if you wish to attend, please book early.

Directions:

From the M1, leave at Junction 25 and follow the signs to Nottingham (A52). Go straight on at the first island, then take the left-hand lane approaching the second island and follow the signs for Bramcote Village into Town Street, taking the second left into Church Street. The Memorial Hall is on the right-hand side of the road, just past the church; there is a car park at the rear, and the entrance is just past the hall from this direction.

Alternatively, the venue can be approached from the Nottingham direction along the A52 to Derby. Look out for The Nurseryman public house on the left-hand side of the dual carriageway. Keep in the left-hand lane and go through three sets of traffic lights, then look out for Church Street on your left. Approaching from this direction, the Memorial Hall is on the left-hand side of the road and the car park entrance is just before the hall. However, if you miss the turning into Church Street, take the next left at the traffic lights into Town Street and follow the directions in the paragraph above.

With very best wishes,
