eye-of-the-tigerItinerary

This is an 11-day photo safari, fully escorted from Delhi. The tour includes 8 full days of photography (5 days in Kanha National Park and 3 days in Bandhavgarh National Park).

Kanha and Bandhavgarh are two of India’s prime tiger reserves and, guided by National Geographic commended naturalist Nanda Rana and renowned wildlife photographer Chris Weston, you’re in expert hands to get the most out of your time in these two mystical parks. With 8 days in the field and 16 safari drives, with just 2 photographers per vehicle, they’ll make sure you never miss a shot, whether you’re photographing tigers, primates, birds, deer, wild dogs or any of the numerous species – many of them endangered – that inhabit these rich parks. There will be plenty of hands-on tuition, as well as evening talks and presentations.

Description

Chris explains further: “It’s hard to describe the feelings that well up inside you when a Bengal tiger comes into focus in your viewfinder. Whatever words spring to mind – magical, awe-inspiring, breathtaking – it’s an experience you’ll remember your entire life and we really want to share it with you.

“In addition, on this special Outreach Photo Safari, we’ll be directly helping India’s National Tiger Conservation Authority to fulfil its goal of fully populating all of India’s tiger reserves, through the donation of camera traps. It’s your chance to get involved and, through the medium of photography, do something that helps conserve this majestic creature. We think it’s an opportunity too magical to miss.”
