Flash Lighting and Portraiture
Adrian Cochrane and Andrew Hewson, who both run the very popular and well-established Nikon Owner South-Coast Group, have organised a practical lighting evening for their next event. It will take place on Saturday, 19th January from 6.00 p.m. till 10.00 p.m., and will be held in the Upstairs Function Room at The Duke of Wellington in Southampton.
The evening will be an opportunity to share experiences and ideas – rather than a course – but do bring your cameras with you for some ‘hands-on’ experience, and if possible, any additional Speedlights you might have (especially Nikon CLS compatible models) to create multiple flash set-ups. This will give everyone attending the opportunity to experiment with the creative use of flash. There will be three areas set up in the Upstairs Function Room at The Duke of Wellington to try out the various aspects of lighting using Nikon Speedlights.
Please visit the NIKON OWNER MESSAGE BOARD and leave a message to let Andrew and Adrian know if you will be attending; if you would also like to have dinner at the Duke of Wellington, please also leave a note on the message board so that the Duke of Wellington staff will have good advance notice of numbers involved.
Because much of the space in the Upstairs Function Room will be used to set up the impromptu studio areas, seating at the tables will be limited.
There will be the usual £5 charge per attendee to cover the room hire.
