Following the great success of all the excellent photo-outings kindly organized this year by Pat and Mike Clarke, Nikon Owner subscribers are invited to the next meeting of the Nikon Owner North Midlands Group, which will take place on Saturday, 14th January, 2012. Attendees are invited to an illustrated talk by Graham Heywood, an award-winning photographer who specialises in creative, sports and portrait images. Graham has gained over twenty-five international gold medals in a variety of countries throughout the world.

Venue:

Bramcote Memorial Hall, Church Street, Bramcote, Nottingham, NG9 3HD.

Time of presentation:

1.00 p.m. for a 1.30 p.m. start – 4.30 p.m.

Please note:
Graham will be happy to answer questions after the presentation, but the hall will need to be vacated before 5.00 pm.

There will be a nominal charge of £4 per head, which will include tea/coffee and biscuits.

Agenda for the afternoon:

Graham’s presentation will cover a range of photographic skills and provide inspiration and advice for beginners and more advanced photographers alike, and will include a comprehensive mixture of topics such as sports, travel and creative photography. Some of the images presented by Graham are of locations which will feature in the programme of photographic walks to be organized by Mike and Pat Clarke in 2012.

We hope that as many people as possible will take advantage of this unique opportunity to see the work of a world-class photographer, and any Nikon Owner subscriber can attend, no matter where they live.

Booking – IMPORTANT:

Would you kindly book for a place on this unique presentation via the Nikon Owner interactive message board, clicking onto this link.

I would appreciate it if you would also log your interest in attending with me, Gillian Greenwood, by emailing me on Gillian.greenwood@nikonownermagazine.com with your full name, subscription number, daytime and mobile phone numbers.

Directions:

From the M1, leave at Junction 25 and follow the signs for Nottingham (A52). At the first island continue on the A52 to Nottingham, then take the left-hand lane approaching the second island and follow signs for Bramcote Village into Town Street. Take the second left turn into Church Street. The Memorial Hall is on the right-hand side of the road, just past the church, and has a car park at the rear. The entrance is just past the hall from this direction.

Alternatively it can be approached from the Nottingham direction along the A52 to Derby. Look out for The Nurseryman public house on the left-hand side of the dual carriageway. Keep in the left-hand lane and go through one set of traffic lights and a set of crossing lights, then look out for Church Street on your left. The Memorial Hall will be on the left-hand side and the car park entrance is just before the hall. However, if you miss this turn, take the left turn at the next set of traffic lights into Town Street and follow the directions in the paragraph above.

With Best Wishes,
